About The Position

Visiting Nurse Association of Florida (VNA), a nonprofit home health provider, is hiring an in-office Recruiter in Downtown Tampa. The role supports recruiting for TGH Home Care powered by VNA of Florida, which provides home care services to Tampa General Hospital patients and others in the community. The Recruiter develops sourcing strategies, reviews and screens candidates, and partners with area Administrators to meet staffing goals. Nurse recruiting experience is required.

Requirements

Proven recruiting experience; nurse recruiting experience is required.
1–3 years of healthcare recruiting or sourcing experience.
Experience sourcing candidates through resume databases and job boards.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to hiring.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Generate and maintain current job postings on internal and external posting boards.
Develop and execute recruitment sourcing strategies to maintain a steady flow of qualified leads.
Review resumes and credentials to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and knowledge against position requirements.
Coordinate with area Administrators on recruiting actions to meet staffing goals for each office.
Support Administrators with interviewing, job fairs, open houses, and recruiting events.
Obtain mailing lists from professional groups for direct recruitment mailings.
Cold-call candidates based on resumes, review resumes, and screen candidates.
