About The Position

The Satterfield and Pontikes Family of companies is hiring a Recruiter for its corporate office in Houston, Texas (77041). The Recruiter manages full-cycle recruitment for roles across the organization, partnering with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, developing sourcing strategies, and providing a positive candidate experience. The position is in the office four days a week and requires expertise in sourcing and cold-calling passive candidates. It is described as a sourcing-focused role, not an HR or staffing role.

The Recruiter handles an above-average requisition load of 15 or more at a time and recruits for roles ranging from entry-level to senior-level, including operations and administrative positions, under the guidance of senior recruiters. The role also supports recruiting events and hiring initiatives and contributes to improvements in recruiting processes and tools.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Recruiter.
• Experience cold calling candidates and comfort contacting passive candidates.
• Ability to manage full-cycle recruiting and a requisition load of 15 or more roles at a time.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for entry-level to senior-level roles under the guidance of senior recruiters.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and recommend sourcing or screening approaches.
• Source and engage candidates using passive search techniques, including cold calling.
• Manage an above-average requisition load of 15 or more roles at a time.
• Create and implement sourcing strategies for a variety of roles, including operations and administrative positions.
• Provide a high-quality candidate experience through timely updates, feedback coordination, and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and requisition data in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Contribute to improving recruiting processes, templates, and tools for efficiency and consistency.
• Assist with offer preparation, reference checks, and pre-employment processes as needed.
• Support or participate in recruiting events, job fairs, or off-site hiring initiatives.
