About The Position

The Recovery team member provides members with prompt, courteous service and assistance while replenishing and stocking merchandise and keeping the sales floor clean, neat, and organized. The role supports club policies, procedures, and compliance; maintains a safe and positive environment; and works collaboratively to deliver daily GOLD member and club standards. Team members are expected to act with honesty and integrity, maintain a friendly attitude, address or escalate member concerns, and attend work regularly and predictably.

Duties include replenishing merchandise across milk, dairy, freezer, food, and non-food areas; organizing apparel, books, and other merchandise; maintaining merchandise signage; removing cardboard and using a cardboard baler; and returning returned or re-shop items to the sales floor. Other duties may be assigned, including work in other departments as needed. The position involves continuous movement around the club and handling merchandise and equipment.

Requirements

• Successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to frequently lift objects up to 50 pounds; lifting and moving heavier or awkward objects may be required with assistance.
• Ability to use a pallet jack to pull and push pallets.

Responsibilities

• Provide members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
• Replenish, refill, stock, and straighten merchandise, including milk, dairy, freezer, food, and non-food items.
• Ensure merchandise has proper signage.
• Keep the sales floor clean, neat, full, and organized.
• Fold and organize apparel, books, and other merchandise.
• Remove empty cardboard from the sales floor, shelves, and display cases; replenish box bins and use a cardboard baler to dispose of cardboard.
• Return returned and re-shop merchandise to the sales floor.
• Maintain club policies and procedures and support compliance.
• Help maintain a safe and positive environment for members and team members.
• Work collaboratively to meet daily GOLD member and club standards.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
