About The Position

The Recovery Clerk provides members with prompt, courteous service and assistance while replenishing and stocking merchandise and keeping the sales floor clean, neat, and organized. The role supports club policies, procedures, and compliance, contributes to a safe and positive environment, and works with the team to meet daily club standards. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job. Other duties may be assigned, including work in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Frequently lift objects up to 50 pounds; lifting and moving heavy or awkward objects over 50 pounds may be required with assistance.
• Use a pallet jack to pull and push pallets.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance.

Responsibilities

• Provide members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
• Replenish, refill, stock, and straighten merchandise, and ensure merchandise is properly signed.
• Keep the sales floor clean, neat, full, and organized.
• Replenish milk, dairy, freezer, food, and non-food merchandise; fold and organize apparel, books, and other merchandise.
• Remove empty cardboard from the sales floor, shelves, and display cases; replenish box bins and use a cardboard baler to dispose of cardboard.
• Return returned and re-shop merchandise to the sales floor.
• Maintain club policies and procedures.
• Carry out assigned job functions and responsibilities, support club policies and compliance, and perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Help deliver GOLD member and club standards, including greeting, anticipating, and appreciating members; maintaining merchandise and promotional execution, accurate signage, and clean, organized spaces.
• Understand how to access and read department production and/or financial performance reports and how consistent execution affects the business.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
