About The Position

The Recovery Clerk provides members with prompt and courteous service and assistance while replenishing and stocking merchandise and keeping the sales floor clean, neat, organized, and fully stocked. The role supports club standards, promotional execution, accurate signage, and a safe, positive member experience. Team members may perform duties in other departments as needed and are expected to maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.

Requirements

• Successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to frequently lift objects up to 50 pounds; heavier or awkward objects may need to be moved with assistance.
• Ability to use a pallet jack to pull and push pallets.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with AI tools, including ChatGPT.

Responsibilities

• Provide members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
• Replenish, refill, stock, and straighten merchandise; ensure merchandise is properly signed.
• Keep the sales floor clean, neat, organized, and fully stocked.
• Replenish milk, dairy, freezer, food, and non-food merchandise; fold and organize apparel, books, and other merchandise.
• Remove empty cardboard from the sales floor, shelves, and display cases; replenish box bins and use a cardboard baler to dispose of cardboard.
• Return all returned and re-shop merchandise to the sales floor.
• Maintain all club policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Deliver service excellence, resolve or de-escalate member concerns, and help ensure a safe and positive environment.
• Work with the team to meet daily GOLD club standards, including stocking items, executing promotional plans, maintaining accurate signage, and keeping the club clean and organized.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
