Recovery Clerk Part Time
About The Position
The Recovery Clerk provides members with prompt, courteous service and assistance; replenishes and stocks merchandise; and keeps the sales floor clean, neat, and organized. The role includes replenishing merchandise across milk, dairy, freezer, food, and non-food areas; organizing apparel, books, and other items; maintaining merchandise signage; and returning re-shop merchandise to the sales floor. The clerk also removes cardboard from the sales floor and uses a cardboard baler to dispose of it. Team members carry out assigned responsibilities, support club policies and procedures, and help maintain a safe, positive, inclusive environment. They work collaboratively to achieve goals, uphold daily GOLD Member and Club Standards, and contribute to consistent execution. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function. Other duties may be assigned, including work in other departments as needed.
Requirements
- Successfully complete required training and certification processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to frequently lift objects up to 50 pounds; heavier or awkward objects may need to be moved with assistance.
- Ability to use a pallet jack to pull and push pallets.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with AI tools, including ChatGPT.
Responsibilities
- Provide members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
- Replenish, refill, stock, and straighten merchandise, including milk, dairy, freezer, food, and non-food items.
- Ensure merchandise is properly signed.
- Keep the sales floor clean, neat, full, and organized.
- Fold and organize apparel, books, and other merchandise.
- Remove empty cardboard from the sales floor, shelves, and display cases; replenish box bins and use a cardboard baler to dispose of cardboard.
- Return returned and re-shop merchandise to the sales floor.
- Maintain club policies and procedures and support compliance.
- Work in other departments as needed and perform other assigned duties.
- Work with the team to uphold GOLD Member and Club Standards, including friendly service, accurate signage, stocked merchandise, and a clean, organized club.
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
