About The Position

The Recovery Clerk provides members with prompt, courteous service and assistance while replenishing and stocking merchandise and keeping the sales floor clean, neat, and organized. The role supports club policies, procedures, and compliance; contributes to a safe and positive environment; and works collaboratively to meet daily GOLD Member and Club Standards. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job. Team members may also be assigned duties in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to frequently lift objects up to 50 pounds; heavier or awkward objects may need to be lifted and moved with assistance.
• Ability to use a pallet jack to pull and push pallets.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with AI tools, including ChatGPT.

Responsibilities

• Provide members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
• Replenish, refill, stock, and straighten merchandise, including milk, dairy, freezer, food, and non-food items.
• Ensure merchandise has proper signage.
• Keep the sales floor clean, neat, full, and organized.
• Fold and organize apparel, books, and other merchandise.
• Remove empty cardboard from the sales floor, shelves, and display cases; replenish box bins; and use a cardboard baler to dispose of cardboard.
• Return returned and re-shop merchandise to the sales floor.
• Maintain club policies and procedures and support their application and compliance.
• Work as a team to deliver GOLD Club Standards, including stocking items, executing promotional plans, maintaining accurate signage, and keeping the club clean and organized.
• Help maintain a safe and positive environment for members and colleagues.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
