Recovery Attendant- Massage Therapist
About The Position
UFC GYM is hiring a Recovery Attendant- Massage Therapist to provide massage and other recovery services, support members’ training and recovery participation, and assist with client-program administration and revenue-generating activities. The role may involve private and small-group training as well as manual therapy, massage, myofascial release, assisted stretching, and other recovery modalities. UFC GYM describes its facilities as offering cardio equipment, coach-led group classes, weightlifting and free weights, martial arts and MMA-inspired fitness training, youth programming, personal training, yoga, Pilates, and more.
Requirements
- Be a licensed massage therapist (LMT), athletic trainer, or physical therapist, or have experience with recovery modalities.
- Have in-depth knowledge of private training techniques, from assessment to program design.
- Have a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude.
- Have current dotFIT certification or be in progress toward it.
Responsibilities
- Sell and conduct private and small-group training with members.
- Provide manual therapy, massage, myofascial release, assisted stretching, or other recovery modalities to members.
- Assist members and encourage their involvement in private training and recovery modalities.
- Accurately administer client programs, including dotFIT, supplements, measurements, workouts, and recovery programs.
- Arrive on time, prepared, and attentive for all appointments.
- Assist with revenue-generating activities, including complimentary workouts, recovery booths, body-fat tables, seminars, and workshops.
