Recon Technician
About The Position
The Recon Technician helps ensure new and used vehicles look their best by cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors, treating upholstery and surfaces, and inspecting vehicles for defects. This is a full-time, hourly position with a Monday through Friday schedule. Starting wage is based on experience. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record. Candidates must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check, motor vehicle records check, and drug test. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Ability to maintain a good driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality work.
- Ability to work scheduled shifts.
- Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check, motor vehicle records check, and drug test.
Nice To Haves
- Automotive recon or related experience; experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Vacuum vehicle interiors to remove loose dirt and debris.
- Wash vehicles inside and out, including windows and interior components.
- Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents and tools.
- Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to vinyl and leather interiors.
- Treat fabrics with spot- and stain-resistant chemicals.
- Inspect vehicles for defects, including dents, scratches, and mechanical issues.
