About The Position

Walser Automotive Group is hiring an Advanced Reconditioning Center Recon Technician to perform routine maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on used vehicles of all makes and models. The role includes diagnosing a range of vehicle issues using diagnostic equipment and completing other assigned duties and projects. The technician is expected to uphold Walser’s core values: Do The Right Thing, Lead By Example, Display Positive Energy, and Be Open Minded. The position pays $30.00 per hour. Candidates should be reliable, have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude, work well on a team, provide their own basic tools, and hold a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. An automotive degree or certification and experience reconditioning vehicles are preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform oil changes.
Replace bulbs and air filters.
Check fluid levels, brakes, and tires, and perform other minor repairs on used vehicles of all makes and models.
Use diagnostic equipment, including scan tools, TP tools, Alldata, A/C equipment, and a DVOM.
Diagnose no-start and poor-running conditions, squeaks, rattles, front suspension issues, check-engine lights, and poor vehicle conditions.
Complete other duties, tasks, and projects as assigned.
