About The Position

Walser Automotive Group is hiring an Advanced Reconditioning Center Recon Technician to inspect, diagnose, and perform maintenance and minor repairs on used vehicles of all makes and models. The role includes routine service work and diagnosing issues such as no-start or poor-running conditions, noises, front suspension concerns, and check-engine lights. Technicians use diagnostic equipment and are expected to uphold Walser’s core values: Do The Right Thing, Lead By Example, Display Positive Energy, and Be Open Minded. Compensation is $30.00 per hour.

Requirements

Ability to provide basic tools.
Reliability and a good work ethic.
Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

Automotive degree and/or certification.
Experience reconditioning vehicles.

Responsibilities

Perform oil changes.
Replace bulbs and air filters.
Check fluid levels, brakes, tires, and other components; perform minor repairs on used vehicles of all makes and models.
Use diagnostic equipment, including scan tools, TP tools, Alldata, A/C equipment, and DVOMs.
Diagnose no-start and poor-running conditions, squeaks, rattles, front suspension issues, check-engine lights, and poor vehicle conditions.
Complete other duties, tasks, and projects as assigned.
