Requirements

Ability to work flexible hours on weeknights and weekends.
Ability to communicate customers’ interests, needs, and requests to management and sales personnel.
Professional personal appearance.
Acceptable motor vehicle driving record according to dealership guidelines.

Experience with the Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

Calculate customer bills using the dealership’s computer system.
Receive cash, checks, and credit card payments, record amounts received on repair orders and/or counter tickets, make change accurately, and issue receipts.
Answer phones, direct callers to the proper department, and follow up in a timely manner.
Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer customers to the appropriate individual for resolution.
Operate the switchboard telephone system.
Communicate with callers professionally, courteously, and efficiently, minimizing time customers spend on hold.
Assist managers with clerical duties as needed.
Work in a friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient manner with customers and employees.
Learn department structures and internal procedures to assist customers efficiently.
