About The Position

Gary Crossley Ford is seeking a part-time Receptionist with excellent customer service skills and a winning attitude. The Receptionist receives dealership calls, determines callers’ needs, and directs them to the appropriate destinations. Scheduled hours are Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and alternating Saturdays. The role also welcomes visitors, maintains clean and tidy common areas, handles deliveries, keeps visitor records, and provides clerical support to managers. The Receptionist is expected to communicate professionally and efficiently with customers and employees and to become familiar with dealership departments and procedures.

Requirements

Ability to communicate customers’ interests, needs, and requests to management and sales personnel.
Professional personal appearance.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Microsoft Office suite and Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

Answer phones, direct consumers to the proper department, and follow up in a timely manner.
Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner.
Maintain the showroom floor and common areas in a clean and tidy manner.
Operate standard office equipment, including a fax machine, copy machine, document scanner, and computer.
Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer customers to the appropriate person for resolution.
Operate a telephone system.
Communicate with callers professionally, courteously, and efficiently while minimizing time spent on hold.
Keep detailed and accurate visitor records.
Receive deliveries.
Assist managers with clerical duties as needed.
Be friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient when working with customers and employees.
Learn department structures and internal procedures to assist customers efficiently.
