About The Position

As an Associate Banker at Chase, you represent the company’s brand and culture by providing welcoming, attentive service and using banking solutions and financial technology to create exceptional client experiences. You build trusted relationships, share product knowledge and solutions, and help clients work toward their financial goals.

This is a part-time role for 20 hours at the Gary Main branch in Gary, Indiana. The position includes client service, account servicing and maintenance, opening accounts, helping clients use digital and self-service banking options, and carrying out branch operations in compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients as they enter the branch and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Use a tablet to manage lobby traffic, check clients into the waiting queue, and schedule or cancel client meetings.
• Provide account servicing and maintenance and open new accounts while following policies, procedures, and regulatory and banking requirements.
• Educate and assist clients with day-to-day banking transactions and technology options, including the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs.
• Listen to clients, ask thoughtful questions, demonstrate empathy, and share product knowledge and solutions to help them reach their financial goals.
• Partner with branch team members to provide seamless service and support clients’ financial goals.
• Perform branch operations, which may include managing cash devices such as the cash vault or ATM, in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
