About The Position

Red White & Blue Thrift is seeking a hardworking, dedicated Supply Chain Associate to support store operations. The role involves loading, unloading, organizing, and lifting donations, including clothing, furniture, and miscellaneous household items. The associate also assists with donation pick-ups and fills trailers efficiently to maximize storage. This physically demanding position requires teamwork, stamina, adaptability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and in varying weather conditions.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment and maintain a steady pace throughout shifts.
• Team-oriented attitude and strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Reliability and ability to take direction from supervisors and team leaders.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and carry items short distances.
• Physical ability to move heavy objects and stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Visual acuity to read road signs, maps, and operating instructions.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling bags and boxes.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow.
• Good hearing to detect warning signals and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Fundamental understanding of written and spoken English to comprehend instructions and read street signs, and ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English when interacting with customers, donors, and colleagues.
• Regular and punctual attendance, dependability, integrity, customer focus, humility, adaptability, attention to detail, inclusion, teamwork, informal communication, resilience, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and organize donations such as clothing, furniture, and other household items.
• Fill trailers with donations, stacking and securing items to maximize space and efficiency.
• Assist drivers on donation pick-up routes by loading and securing items.
• Maintain organized inventory by categorizing items and placing them in designated areas.
• Support thrift store operations by responding promptly to demands and requests.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and productive work processes.
• Follow direction and complete tasks accurately to support team goals.
• Work in various weather conditions as needed for loading and unloading tasks.
