About The Position
The RCFE Assistant Administrator helps oversee daily operations at a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly in El Monte, California. The role supports the Administrator and assists with resident care coordination, staff supervision, facility compliance, and communication with residents, families, and healthcare providers. Requirements
- Previous experience working in an RCFE, assisted living facility, or senior care setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage daily facility needs.
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional.
- Must meet applicable background clearance and employment requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Prior supervisory or administrative experience.
- Knowledge of California Title 22 RCFE regulations.
- RCFE Administrator Certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Administrator with daily facility operations.
- Support and supervise caregivers and facility staff.
- Coordinate resident care and daily activities.
- Monitor resident safety, comfort, and overall well-being.
- Assist with staff scheduling and coverage.
- Maintain resident records and required documentation.
- Help ensure compliance with California RCFE regulations.
- Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare providers.
- Assist with admissions, assessments, and care coordination.
- Address resident and family concerns professionally and promptly.
