About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Radiology Tech specializing in Interventional Radiology in the Los Angeles, CA area. The assignment is for 13 weeks, with a start date of 09/14/2026. The role involves working in an interventional radiology department within an acute-care environment, focusing on providing care for invasive, interventional, and therapeutic procedures. The position requires a 40-hour work week with 10-hour day shifts.

Requirements

Active license as required for radiologic practice in California (per local regulatory standards)
Certification in radiologic technology (ARRT or equivalent) or as required by state
Prior experience in interventional radiology or cath lab settings preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced interventional environment; strong teamwork and communication skills
BLS certification; ACLS preferred or as required by facility policies

Responsibilities

Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care for invasive, interventional, and therapeutic procedures addressing cardiac, vascular, and structural heart disorders.
Assist with device implantation/removal, lead management, and catheter-based interventions; participate in therapeutic ablations as part of the interventional team.
Prepare and maintain sterile fields, operate imaging equipment as assigned, and uphold radiation safety and infection control standards.
Monitor patient status during procedures, document findings, and communicate with the procedural team to support safe and effective care.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists to ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety throughout interventional studies.
