About The Position

This is a Travel - Temporary Assignment for an Interventional Radiology Tech in Los Angeles, California. The assignment is for 13 weeks and starts on 09/14/2026. The role is in a hospital-based interventional radiology department that provides care for invasive, interventional, and therapeutic procedures. These procedures treat cardiac and vascular disorders, cardiac rhythm abnormalities, implant and remove devices and leads, and conduct therapeutic ablations. The position is supported through Healthforce Healthcare LLC, offering dedicated support and credentialing assistance.

Requirements

Active radiology technologist license in California or current eligibility
Associate degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
Ability to work in a hospital setting and meet the demands of a rotating 4x10 shift

Nice To Haves

Certification in Radiologic Technology (e.g., ARRT) preferred
Experience in interventional radiology or cath lab setting preferred

Responsibilities

Assist with pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care for invasive and interventional studies, including cardiac and vascular interventions and device implants/removals
Maintain sterile technique, prepare and assist with access sites, catheter placements, and lead/device procedures
Operate and optimize imaging equipment (fluoroscopy) to guide procedures; monitor patient status and vital signs throughout
Support post-procedure recovery, document findings, and communicate with the multidisciplinary team about patient status and care plans
Ensure equipment readiness, proper documentation, and compliance with safety and infection control standards
