About The Position

The Radiology Student, Senior operates imaging equipment to perform procedures for a specified patient population under the supervision of a registered Radiologic Technologist. The role models appropriate behavior in accordance with MLH’s Mission, Vision, and Values and contributes to caring for the community through compassionate service and a focus on excellence.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college Radiology program.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
• Basic knowledge of radiographic equipment and imaging procedures.
• Ability to effectively relate and communicate with internal and external customers.

Nice To Haves

• No prior work experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of radiology information systems (RIS, HIS, and PACS preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform quality radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods under the supervision of a registered radiologic technologist.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, compliance activities, and policies and procedures.
• Manage supplies and equipment effectively.
• Plan work and complete job responsibilities efficiently and productively.
• Demonstrate professional work behavior and excellent customer service in all interactions.
• Perform other job functions as assigned or requested.
