Radiology Patient Care Representative Part-Time
About The Position
Capital Health Plan is seeking a dedicated Radiology Patient Care Representative to support patient service and the efficient operation of its radiology department in Tallahassee, Florida. This part-time position works from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM every other weekend, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed. The representative supports the patient experience throughout the visit by welcoming patients, verifying coverage, assisting with check-in, scheduling appointments, answering calls, routing inquiries, collecting payments, and documenting patient interactions. The role also supports patient flow, coordinates follow-up appointments, manages medical records and electronic communications, assists with image requests, and helps keep the department organized and efficient. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Willingness to learn scheduling software and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Strong computer and administrative skills.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening test.
Nice To Haves
- Healthcare, medical office, scheduling, patient service, or administrative experience is preferred.
