About The Position

The Quick Lube Automotive Technician is an entry-level technician responsible for basic maintenance of customer vehicles. The role involves working repetitively on complex tasks as part of a team and helping provide a positive vehicle-servicing experience. This is an hourly-paid position at Courtesy Toyota of Brandon.

Requirements

• Have a positive attitude and be a team player.
• Be at least eighteen years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Have basic tools.
• Pass pre-employment screening, including a background check and drug test.

Nice To Haves

• Automotive technical school certifications are preferred.
• Previous experience is highly preferred.
• Apprenticeship experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, tire balancing, and battery testing.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
• Accurately complete a multi-point inspection form for each vehicle.
• Use product and technical training as assigned by the manufacturer and management.
• Ensure customer vehicles are returned in the same condition or better than when brought in.
• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training, programs, and schools.
• Continuously expand knowledge of new technologies and practices.
