About The Position

The Lube Tech is an entry-level technician responsible for basic maintenance of customer vehicles. This hourly-paid role involves teamwork and repetitive work on complex tasks. Technicians help deliver an exceptional service experience by completing maintenance and inspections, using manufacturer and management training, and taking care to return vehicles in the same or better condition than when received. The role includes ongoing learning about automotive technologies and participation in manufacturer-sponsored training, programs, and schools.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have basic tools.
• Must pass pre-employment screening, including a background check and drug test.
• Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.

Nice To Haves

• Automotive technical school certifications are preferred.
• Previous experience is highly preferred.
• Apprenticeship experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, tire balancing, and battery testing.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
• Accurately complete the multi-point inspection form for each vehicle.
• Use product and technical training as assigned by the manufacturer and management.
• Ensure customer vehicles are returned in the same condition or better than when brought in.
• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training, programs, and schools.
• Continuously expand knowledge of new technologies and practices.
