About The Position

Fox Motors is hiring a Quick Lube Advisor at Fox Grand Traverse in Traverse City, Michigan. The advisor is an automotive expert who works in the quick service lane, building customer trust and long-term relationships. The role involves greeting customers, determining vehicle service needs, preparing and presenting repair orders, and maintaining customer records. Fox Motors seeks someone with automotive knowledge, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a team-focused approach. Additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as an Oil Change Technician.
• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Automotive knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Team-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously and obtain vehicle information.
• Prepare repair orders after reviewing service history and vehicle inspection information.
• Establish a promised completion time for work.
• Review completed work with the customer and obtain the customer's signature.
• Process payment for work.
• Maintain customer records and help build long-term customer relationships.
