About The Position

Fox Motors is hiring a Quick Lube Advisor at Fox Grand Traverse in Traverse City, Michigan. The role contributes to the company’s vision of “Working together moving people throughout life” by building customer trust and long-term relationships. The Quick Lube Advisor is an automotive expert who works in the quick service lane, greets customers, determines vehicle service needs, prepares and presents repair orders, and maintains customer records. The role requires automotive knowledge, strong written and verbal communication, and a team-focused approach.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as an Oil Change Technician.
• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Automotive knowledge and a team-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and in a friendly manner, and obtain vehicle information.
• Write repair orders after reviewing service history and vehicle inspection information.
• Establish the promised completion time for work.
• Review completed work with the customer and obtain the customer’s signature.
• Process payment for work.
