About The Position

Mullinax Automotive is seeking a dependable, hard-working, self-motivated Quick Lane Technician with an enthusiastic presence to join its multi-store enterprise. The ideal candidate is goal-oriented, positive, and willing to learn. The role involves completing repair-order work, conducting vehicle inspections and test drives, maintaining accurate records, and supporting customer satisfaction and workplace safety. Six months to one year of automotive experience is required. The schedule is Monday through Saturday, with varying hours and no Sundays.

Requirements

At least 18 years old.
Basic vehicle knowledge.
Basic tool set.
Six months to one year of automotive experience.
Basic computer, email, and internet proficiency.
Strong time management skills.
Ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed, including items up to 75 pounds.
Ability to withstand exposure to adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt, and dust.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record according to dealership guidelines.
Must pass background screening and drug test.

Responsibilities

Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership policy.
Complete thorough and accurate multi-point inspections.
Complete vehicle test drives as necessary.
Provide superior customer satisfaction.
Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for customers and dealership records.
Clean and maintain the work environment to support equipment longevity and workplace safety.
Handle computerized transactions and record keeping.
Follow all company procedures and standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
