About The Position

Midway Motors is seeking a dependable, energetic Quick Lane Technician to join its Service Team. This role is suited to someone who enjoys working with vehicles, staying busy, and developing skills in the automotive industry. Automotive experience is helpful, but the company is willing to train a candidate with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. The technician will perform routine maintenance, inspections, basic repairs, and tire services while maintaining accurate work records and a clean, safe workspace. The position involves coordinating with Service Advisors and other technicians to keep vehicles moving efficiently and providing quality work while caring for customers’ vehicles. Requirements

• Be dependable and ready to work.
• Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Be able to work well as part of a team.
• Have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the day.

• Basic mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and other routine maintenance.
• Complete vehicle inspections and identify maintenance or safety concerns.
• Perform basic repairs and services as assigned.
• Mount, balance, and repair tires.
• Keep accurate records of work performed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work closely with Service Advisors and other technicians to keep vehicles moving efficiently.
• Participate in training and development opportunities.
• Provide quality work while taking great care of customers’ vehicles.
