About The Position

Mike Maroone Automotive is seeking an experienced Quick Lane Service Technician to perform automotive maintenance in a shop environment. This is not an entry-level position; candidates must have professional automotive maintenance experience and recognized automotive certifications. Requirements

• Previous professional automotive maintenance experience.
• Automotive certifications, such as ASE, manufacturer-specific, or other recognized automotive service certifications.
• Experience performing oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, and general vehicle maintenance.
• Strong understanding of automotive maintenance procedures and shop safety.
• Ability to perform multi-point inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Comfort using automotive tools, equipment, and basic diagnostic technology.
• Ability to work efficiently in a flat-rate environment without sacrificing quality.
• Valid driver's license with an approved motor vehicle record per the employer's insurance requirements.
• Dependability, motivation, and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid services.
• Inspect and replace brakes, batteries, filters, belts, and other maintenance components.
• Perform tire repairs, mounting, balancing, and replacements.
• Complete multi-point vehicle inspections and identify recommended maintenance or repairs.
• Diagnose and address basic vehicle maintenance concerns.
• Perform scheduled maintenance according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Accurately document completed work and recommended services.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with service advisors and other technicians to keep vehicles moving through the shop.
