Quick Lane Technician
About The Position
Kendall Ford of Meridian is hiring an entry-level Quick Lane Technician to perform routine automotive maintenance and basic repairs while building skills for advancement into higher-level technician roles. The position offers hands-on experience with customer vehicles, manufacturer training, and opportunities to learn from experienced technicians and shop leadership. The company aims to support employees who want to develop into full-line, diagnostic, diesel, or other skilled automotive technicians. Work is performed primarily indoors in a shop environment. Technicians stand and walk throughout the shift and regularly use automotive hand and power tools. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Dependability, willingness to learn, comfort working with hands, and interest in developing automotive skills.
- Previous lube or automotive experience is preferred, but not required; mechanically inclined applicants with a desire to learn are also considered.

Responsibilities
- Perform oil and filter changes.
- Rotate and balance tires.
- Inspect and maintain vehicle fluids.
- Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections.
- Perform battery, filter, and other maintenance services.
- Perform basic brake repairs.
- Document inspections and repairs properly.
- Perform manufacturer-recommended maintenance.
