About The Position

Sika is seeking an experienced Quality Supervisor for its roofing business at the Sealy, Texas manufacturing facility. The role oversees the daily operations of the Quality Control Laboratory and Quality Assurance activities, ensuring raw materials, in-process products, and finished PVC roofing membranes meet established quality standards, customer requirements, and applicable industry specifications. As a member of the plant leadership team, the Quality Supervisor drives quality excellence through process control, problem solving, continuous improvement, auditing, and employee development.

Requirements

Five or more years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline is preferred; an equivalent combination of education and manufacturing quality experience will be considered.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of supervisory or leadership experience.
Experience with PVC, polymer, extrusion, coating, calendering, roofing, building products, or related manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

Supervise and develop Quality Technicians across multiple shifts.
Coordinate laboratory and inspection resources to support production schedules and customer commitments.
Monitor production processes to ensure consistent manufacturing of PVC roofing membranes.
Partner with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to investigate and resolve quality concerns.
Lead root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, A3, and CAPA processes.
Manage customer complaint investigations and corrective actions.
Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 requirements and company quality procedures.
