About The Position

Mindpath Health is hiring a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for its growing outpatient psychiatry team in Carlsbad, Chula Vista, Santa Barbara, Cerritos, or San Marcos. The role is a hybrid position combining in-person and telehealth care in a 100% outpatient practice. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no nights, weekends, or call. The clinician may work with adult and/or child and adolescent patient populations and will have established patient demand and administrative support.

The practice treats mostly commercially insured patients of all ages with a wide range of mental health diagnoses. Clinicians collaborate with psychiatrists, PMHNPs, and therapists. Services include medication management and therapy, with TMS and Spravato available in certain locations. The role offers a posted base salary range of $186,000–$198,000 plus uncapped quarterly incentives. Compensation depends on job-related qualifications, experience, geographic location, production model results, hours worked, ramp-up time, and licensure.

Requirements

• Active PMHNP-BC certification.
• Unrestricted PMHNP license in the state of practice.
• Active DEA registration.
• At least 2 years of experience as a licensed PMHNP.
• At least 2 years of outpatient psychiatric experience in a private practice setting.
