About The Position

Mindpath Health is hiring a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for its growing outpatient psychiatry team in Carlsbad, Chula Vista, Santa Barbara, Cerritos, or San Marcos. The role offers a hybrid schedule combining in-person care and telehealth in a 100% outpatient practice. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no nights, weekends, or call. The clinician may work with adult and/or child and adolescent patient populations and will have established patient demand and administrative support, along with collaboration from psychiatrists, PMHNPs, and therapists.

The practice treats mostly commercially insured patients of all ages with a wide range of mental health diagnoses. Care includes psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapy; TMS and Spravato services are also offered in certain locations. Clinicians have access to the expertise of a national group practice to support patient care and professional development. The listed base salary is $186,000–$198,000, with uncapped quarterly incentives. Compensation is determined by job-related qualifications, experience, geographic location, and other relevant factors; actual income may vary based on production model results, hours worked, ramp-up time, experience, and licensure.

Requirements

• Active PMHNP-BC certification.
• Unrestricted PMHNP license in the state of practice.
• Active DEA registration.
• At least 2 years as a licensed PMHNP.
• At least 2 years of outpatient psychiatric experience in a private practice setting.
