About The Position

Basin Engineering & Surveying is seeking a Proposal & Marketing Coordinator to own the firm's proposal and pursuit lifecycle end-to-end. This role involves coordinating and producing SOQs and RFQ responses, tracking a master pursuit calendar, writing and tailoring non-technical proposal content, coordinating with subconsultants, managing submission logistics, maintaining a reusable library of boilerplate and project highlights, preparing marketing collateral, and researching upcoming procurement opportunities. The position also includes providing administrative support to the two principals, such as scheduling, correspondence, document preparation, and calendar and travel coordination. This is a full-time, on-site position in Metairie, LA.

Requirements

  • 4 or more years developing and coordinating proposals, presentations, or business development materials
  • Proficiency in writing, editing, and proofreading with an eye for sales messaging
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Organization skills
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Adobe InDesign
  • Experience with Bluebeam Revu
  • Experience with a CRM

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and producing SOQs and RFQ responses, from kickoff through final submission
  • Tracking a master pursuit calendar, including deadlines and addenda
  • Writing and tailoring non-technical proposal content: staff resumes, project descriptions, and win themes
  • Coordinating with subconsultants and teaming partners to collect required forms and licenses
  • Managing submission logistics: formatting, procurement portals, printing, binding, and hand-delivery
  • Maintaining a reusable library of boilerplate and project highlights
  • Preparing marketing collateral, including capabilities statements and project highlight sheets
  • Researching upcoming public and private procurement opportunities
  • Improving the proposal process itself
  • Providing administrative support to the two principals: scheduling, correspondence, document prep, and calendar and travel coordination
