Project Manager II

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Manager II to support the Department of Veterans Affairs. Your strong problem-solving skills will help you address technical, administrative, and managerial challenges while ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget. • Provide project oversight and ensure the success of the contractual effort.
• Utilize specific programmatic and/or technical experience to effectively manage projects within the designated area.
• Solve technical, administrative, and managerial problems, adjusting strategies and resources as necessary.
• Interface with the customer's technical point of contact to ensure that tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, regularly monitoring progress and adjusting as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, facilitating communication and coordination to achieve project goals.
• Present project status updates and reports to stakeholders, including senior management and clients.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of professional experience in project management.
• Specific programmatic and/or technical experience in the areas covered by the contractual effort.
• Proven ability to solve technical, administrative, and managerial problems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Outlook, etc.)
• Preferred qualifications include:
• Experience managing programs in the VA or experience managing VA telehealth or VA home health, or experience in a commercial setting in the management or development of digital health products and/or programs.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
• Experience working with government agencies or in the health care industry.
• Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
• Experience in managing virtual or telehealth projects.
