About The Position

The Program Supervisor supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and helps implement Individual Service Plans (ISPs). The role combines direct support, program and administrative activities, and staff supervision. Duties include overseeing caregivers and supporting individuals with daily activities, community involvement, and transportation to work or other activities. The supervisor also participates in hiring, training, and scheduling staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of related work experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• Other licensure or certification where required by the regulatory authority.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to establish rapport with team members and the people served.
• Strong organizational abilities to maintain staffing and schedules.
• Previous Direct Support Professional (DSP) or closely related healthcare experience.

• Previous management experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISPs).
• Participate in administrative duties, including staff hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight.
• Supervise a team of caregivers supporting individuals in the program.
• Assist individuals with daily activities, including meal preparation and planning, medication administration, and personal care.
• Accompany individuals on community outings or provide transportation to work and other activities.
• Balance direct support, professional or program activities, and supervision.
