About The Position

The Program Supervisor oversees the operation of a personal care home serving three individuals with developmental disabilities. The role includes arranging 24-hour coverage, monitoring medication administration and medical orders, maintaining records, investigating incidents, and ensuring the home is safe, clean, and attractive. The supervisor also participates in staff meetings and supports hiring.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or above in behavioral science, social science, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
Two years of experience in home health or a related field, including one year of supervisory experience.
Two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Must pass a criminal background check.
Must provide tuberculosis screening test results.
Must meet physical requirements.
Must have CPR/First Aid.
If hired, must provide a recent seven-year motor vehicle report.
Must complete online orientation and annual training.

Responsibilities

Oversee the operation of a personal care home serving three individuals with developmental disabilities.
Schedule 24-hour coverage for the home.
Monitor the administration of medication, physician orders, and prescriptions.
Document the purpose of visits or face-to-face contacts, assessments or evaluations, training, intervention plans, and changes in service delivery, including staff recommendations.
Maintain and update records at assigned intervals.
Investigate incidents and report them to appropriate staff.
Assist with developing and implementing corrective actions for incidents.
Visit and monitor homes frequently to ensure they are safe, clean, and attractive.
Attend monthly supervisors and staff meetings.
Recruit, interview, and recommend candidates for employment.
