About The Position

ViaQuest Day & Employment Services provides support to individuals with developmental disabilities through its Day Program. The Program Specialist provides direct care and support, helping individuals build independence, choice, and empowerment while ensuring their health and safety. Training is provided in its entirety, and prior experience is not required.

The role includes transporting individuals between their homes and the Day Program in a company passenger van and supporting them during community outings.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
• Ability to push, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb, balance, kneel, and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Transport individuals between their homes and the Day Program using a company passenger van.
• Transport and assist individuals during community outings.
• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Foster increased independence, choice, and empowerment while ensuring individuals’ health and safety needs are met.
