About The Position

The Direct Support Professional in the day program works with individuals in workplace, training, and community settings to help ensure they are safe, respected, mentored, and engaged. The role creates opportunities for individuals to increase their quality of life and may include activities such as going to movies, fishing, bowling, and playing games. The position offers an hourly starting wage of $14.00.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must communicate well verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to complete assigned program documentation accurately and within allotted time frames.
• Must have good judgment and be able to handle crisis situations.
• Must have a positive attitude.
• Must have experience as a direct support professional.
