About The Position
Pathways for Life is seeking compassionate and dependable Day Program Staff to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) on an on-call, back-up, or as-needed basis. Staff help participants engage in daily activities and the community, encourage independence and personal growth, build positive and respectful relationships, and support a safe and engaging day program environment. The role may involve using company vehicles to transport members to and from activities.
Requirements
- Compassionate and patient.
- Strong communication and observation skills.
- Reliable and flexible availability.
- At least 18 years old.
- Valid Arizona Driver's License.
- Clean driving record and background check.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals in daily activities and community engagement.
- Encourage independence and personal growth.
- Build positive, respectful relationships.
- Assist with behavior support strategies when needed.
- Help maintain a safe, engaging day program environment.
- Transport members to and from activities using company vehicles as needed.
