The Trenton Area Program Manager will support green investments in the City of Trenton by fostering a community culture dedicated to mitigating climate change effects and advocating for green investments in neighborhoods. This role involves coordinating the expansion of the Trees for Trenton partnership, planting shade trees, and enhancing the profile of NJ Conservation Foundation's work through social media and other strategies. The position will also facilitate the establishment of Micro Forests and Pollinator Meadows, advocate for green investments, and develop programs to engage communities in nature and urban agriculture. The Program Manager will support advocacy, communications, campaigns, and coalition-building efforts, prepare reports for the NJCF board, assist with grant proposals, and communicate policy positions to various audiences. Additionally, the role includes initiating and completing land transactions, utilizing planning tools, and coordinating with partners, funders, and government agencies.
