About The Position

As a Program Manager in AFSG’s Strategic Delivery Office (SDO), you will lead AFSG’s broad data programs from the business side. You will partner with the Enterprise Change Office (ECO), the Enterprise Data Office (EDO), AFSG Technology and AFSG business areas to turn enterprise and technology initiatives into clear plans, timely decisions and well-supported transitions for people who depend on AFSG data. The role combines traditional program management with data and reporting fluency. You will establish plans, governance and cadence for multiple workstreams and lead through influence across teams you do not manage. Success is measured by delivered business outcomes and productive users, not simply completed tasks.

  • Comfort working alongside agile engineering teams and their backlogs.

  • Experience building and running change management, communication and readiness plans for changes affecting many business users.
  • Ability to influence senior and executive leaders and work effectively with analysts, report developers and engineers.
  • Ability to identify risks and dependencies early and present options and recommendations.
  • Clear, authentic communication skills, including explaining technical trade-offs in business terms.
