About The Position

Pilot Company is seeking a Program Intern for their Transportation team for the summer of 2027. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to operational efficiency by refining processes and creating improved departmental tools. The intern will be an integral part of the team, tackling key projects that will provide hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. The role will offer insights into the transportation business, help improve driver efficiency, and expose the intern to new industry opportunities. Specific projects will be determined closer to the internship to align with current business needs.

Requirements

• A student pursuing a degree in Supply-Chain or Data Analytics.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
• Must be a critical thinker with strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• The ability to collaborate and a curiosity to learn are crucial for this role.

Nice To Haves

• Coursework in business and programming is a plus.
• Experience with Tableau is a plus.
• Involvement in extra-curricular activities or clubs that support leadership skills is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Refine existing processes by creating and improving department tools using Excel, Tableau, and PowerPoint.
• Analyze data for key insights and communicate findings clearly and concisely to the team.
• Practice time management by handling multiple tasks and taking on additional projects throughout the summer.
• Help the transportation team explore new opportunities, including driver efficiency projects, to improve overall operations.
