About the position
We are seeking a dynamic Program Analyst to join our team and provide administrative, analytical, and cross-functional support to senior-level decision makers within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness (OUSD(P&R)). The Program Analyst will be responsible for managing the Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS) for the Office of Force Resiliency (OFR) and coordinating assignments and requirements with responsible offices. Additionally, they will facilitate visitors, provide critical administrative support to senior OFR leadership, and assist in creating and updating DoD directive/instructional documents. The position is located at the Pentagon.
Responsibilities
- Providing administrative services for processing of issuances, Government Accountability Office responses, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) replies, hotline inquiry responses, and inspector general audits
- Providing operational services and knowledge management support including file consolidation and management on network-based applications
- Providing content analysis for classified and unclassified correspondence addressed to the White House, the Secretary of Defense, the Deputy Secretary of Defense, Members of Congress, and members of the general public
- Managing the Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS) task management tool for OFR; coordinating assignments and requirements with responsible offices; tracking and overseeing task timelines to ensure deadlines are met; reviewing and quality-controlling deliverables prior to submission to leadership; coordinating with stakeholders to ensure final products and subsequent tasks as necessary are disseminated to proper recipients
- Facilitating visitors/office calls/inquiries
- Providing critical administrative support to senior OFR leadership, including identifying and scheduling leadership priorities, supporting meetings, and communicating with external parties on behalf of the OFR Front Office
- Completing high-visibility and short-turn assignments as needed with minimum oversight on behalf of OFR
- Working closely with the OUSD(P&R) Executive Secretariat to create, update, and/or provide feedback on DoD directive/instructional documents, including synthesizing and/or deconflicting stakeholder inputs; processing final documents through interagency coordination.
Requirements
