About The Position

The University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position to teach the Community Development Clinic, to begin July 1, 2027. We invite entry-level and lateral candidates to join our Clinical Law Program, our faculty, and our community. The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) is the state’s public health, law, and human services university, dedicated to excellence in education, research, clinical care, and public service. UMB enrolls over 6,700 students in six nationally ranked professional schools—medicine, law, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, and social work—and an interdisciplinary Graduate School. Requirements

  • Hold a J.D. from an American Bar Association-approved law school or an equivalent degree
  • Be eligible to obtain a U.S. bar license before beginning employment
