About The Position

Loyola Marymount University (LMU) is seeking outstanding applicants for the position of Assistant Professor of Finance (Tenure-Track). This role is within the Department of Finance at a Carnegie-classified R2 institution committed to inclusive excellence and the building of a just society. Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Finance or a closely related field, conferred no later than the position start date of August 15, 2027.
  • Demonstrate disciplinary excellence.
  • Demonstrate a clear capacity to advance LMU’s mission through teaching, scholarly, creative, professional, and service-related contributions.
  • Commitment to teaching a diverse student body in a transformative learning environment.
  • Commitment to developing a thriving portfolio in research/scholarship/creative works and mentoring students.

Responsibilities
