About The Position

The University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law is seeking to fill up to two tenure-track faculty positions, either entry-level or lateral, to begin on July 1, 2027. The focus of these positions is Environmental Law, with a particular interest in candidates who can teach Property or Business Associations in addition to upper-level environmental law courses. Requirements

• J.D. from an American Bar Association-approved law school or an equivalent degree.
• Eligibility to obtain a U.S. bar license before beginning employment.
• Strong potential for outstanding teaching.
• Strong potential for original scholarship.
• Genuine interest in becoming an active member of the community.
