About The Position

The University of Alabama School of Law is seeking to fill up to four tenure-track positions for the 2027-28 academic year. This specific solicitation is for two positions for lateral candidates at the Associate or Full Professor of Law rank. The school is looking for candidates with outstanding academic credentials, including a J.D. from an accredited law school or an equivalent degree (such as a Ph.D. in a related field).
