About The Position

The Professional Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. The officer also serves as a helpful professional resource while ensuring people on the property follow safety protocols. The position is full-time and located in Crystal Lake, Illinois. The wage is $21.00 per hour. The schedule includes first and second shifts, with weekend availability needed.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or GED required.
Above-average computer and technology skills.
Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience required.
Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and vigilant throughout the shift.
Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
Strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
Willingness to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.
