About The Position

The Professional Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises and patrolling a variety of locations. The officer preserves order by enforcing regulations and directives for a client site, including those pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Officers observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site to protect client property and personnel. They may also provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. The role requires weekend and second-shift availability, at least one year of security experience, and excellent customer service skills. Candidates must pass a drug screen and background check and must be able to meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards. The advertised wage is $16.00–$18.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security experience.
Excellent customer service skills.
Weekend availability required.
Second-shift availability required.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Must be able to meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, potentially for long periods; duties may involve climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
