About The Position

Securitas USA is hiring a Professional Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment for clients. Officers actively monitor premises, patrol locations, observe and report activities and incidents, preserve order, and enforce site-related regulations and directives concerning personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. The role may also involve providing customer service and information to client employees and customers.

No prior security experience is necessary. Training is provided, and candidates with retail, food service, or hospitality backgrounds may be a good fit. The position requires computer and CCTV experience, the ability to handle stressful situations effectively, and excellent customer service skills. Applicants must pass a drug screen and background check and meet and continue to meet applicable security-officer licensing requirements.

Requirements

• Computer and CCTV experience required.
• Ability to handle stressful situations effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, potentially for long periods; may include climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 25 pounds.
