About The Position

The Professional Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises and patrolling a variety of locations. The officer preserves order while enforcing regulations and directives for the client site concerning personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. The role also involves providing customer service and information to clients’ employees and customers. Security Officers observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site to help protect client property and personnel. Applicants must pass a drug screen and background check and meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers or Guards.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security experience.
Excellent customer service skills.
Weekend availability required.
Second-shift availability required.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Must meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers or Guards.
Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, potentially for long periods; may include climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
May frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
